US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are edging higher so far Thursday, with the ECB
monetary policy decision providing the near-term focal point globally.
- Sep 10-Yr futures (TY) up 4.5/32 at 127-4 (L: 126-29 / H: 127-07).
- Short end of Tsy curve outperforming: 2-Yr yield down 3.1bps at 1.8264%, 5-Yr
down 3bps at 1.8466%, 10-Yr down 2.8bps at 2.107%, 30-Yr down 3.5bps at 2.612%.
- Notably 2Y30Y and 5Y30Y are off Wednesday`s best levels in over a year, while
3M10Y and 1Y10Ys are flattening anew (3-4bps apiece).
- Eurodollars up 1-2 ticks across the strip.
- This despite generally risk-positive on the equities front, with European
stocks in the green and S&P futures up 0.3%. Dollar trading flat-to-down.
- More trade rhetoric earlier from Pres Trump on his European trip, saying China
tariffs could go up at least another $300bln, while `something pretty dramatic`
could happen in Mexico negotiations in coming days. 
- Weekly jobless claims highlight the US data calendar today. While Fed`s Kaplan
and Williams appear today (both w Q&A), ECB decision shortly worth watching.
