US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are fairly steady Monday as they continue to try to
find a floor.
- Jun 10-Yr futures (TY) down 0.5/32 at 123-2.5 (L: 123-00 / H: 123-05)
- Curves a little flatter (incl 3M10Y down 0.53bps at 13.0bps). The 2-Yr yield
is up 0.6bps at 2.3977%, 5-Yr is up 0.2bps at 2.382%, 10-Yr is down 0.5bps at
2.5597%, and 30-Yr is down 0.5bps at 2.9721%.
- Eurodollars weaker across the strip, Reds and Greens off 2.0-2.5 ticks.
- Little movement in either equities or the USD so far.
- U.S. trade relations have had top billing to begin the week. E.U.`s Malmstrom
says will publish a list of U.S. products that could be hit by retaliatory
tariffs by Brussels if Boeing WTO case negotions break down.
- Earlier headlines included BBG reporting China could shift tariffs from U.S.
farm goods to other products; RTRS reporting that the U.S. has tempered demands
on Chinese industrial subsidies.
- Quiet data-wise; Empire Manufacturing the main figure.
- One Fed speaker scheduled: Chicago`s Evans appears at 1300ET/1800UK.
