US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries have been pretty directionless early Tuesday, though
the most important Fedspeak and data of the week awaits later today.
- Little activity in the Asia-Pac session, though Tsys boosted briefly in the
European session by more no-deal Brexit talk and weak German ZEW reading.
- Sep 10-Yr futures (TY) down 1.5/32 at 127-4 (L: 127-03 / H: 127-08).
- Short end underperforming: 2-Yr yield is up 1.3bps at 1.8416%, 5-Yr is up
1.2bps at 1.856%, 10-Yr is up 0.5bps at 2.0939%, 30-Yr is unchanged at 2.6106%.
- Eurodollar strip trading down 0.5-1.0 ticks.
- A slew of Fed speakers today: Bostic and Bowman at a Fed Listens event at
0815ET, Kaplan at 1220ET, Powell in Paris at 1300ET, Evans in Chicago at 1530ET.
- Key data: Retail sales (0830ET) est. +0.2% M/M in June after +0.5% in May;
Industrial production (0915ET) est +0.2% M/M in June after +0.4% in May.
