US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries have drifted lower in Asian and European trade
Monday, as a week of key U.S. data flow gets underway.
-  The Jun 19 T-Note future is down 6/32 at 122-185, just off lows of 122-17.
Modest bear steepening in the curve, with 2-Yr yields up 1.8bps at 2.4793%, 5-Yr
is up 1.5bps at 2.4455%, 10-Yr is up 2.3bps at 2.6519%, and 30-Yr is up 3bps at
3.0415%.
- Consumer related data will be the focus early in the week ahead with Jan
Retail Sales today.
- Fed Chair Powell didn't have much market-moving to say on a 60 Minutes
programme appearance Sunday evening, though noteworthy that FOMC will be
watching today`s retail sales data with interest.
- Powell will be giving pre-recorded welcome remarks at a National Community
Reinvestment Coalition conference after market close.
- Reminder: Following the change for US clocks over the weekend, the time
difference between US and Europe has fallen by one hour.
