US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries have ground lower early Weds as global political
risks seen easing (Hong Kong, Brexit), with equities higher (S&P futs +0.9%).
- Curve bear steepening: 2-Yr yield is up 0.8bps at 1.4599%, 5-Yr is up 2bps at
1.3491%, 10-Yr is up 3.2bps at 1.4892%, and 30-Yr is up 3.5bps at 1.988%.
- Dec 10-Yr futures (TY) down 5/32 at 131-31 (L: 131-29.5 / H: 132-08.5)
- Little on the data front, mainly Jul Trade Balance at 0830ET.
- However, plenty of Fed speakers, ahead of pre-FOMC blackout Fri night.
- This comes after Boston`s Rosengren last night signalled continued reluctance
to ease, while St Louis` Bullard called for 50bps cut in Sep. Up later:
- 0925ET NY Fed Pres Williams speaks at conf in NYC
- 1000ET Dallas' Pres Kaplan speaks in Toronto
- 1230ET St Louis' Bullard and Gov Bowman at "Fed Listens" event in St Louis
- 1300ET Minn.'s Kashkari conducts town hall
- 1400ET Beige Book released
- 1515ET Chicago's Evans opening remarks to conf. in Detroit
- 1730ET Bullard closing event comments; in plenary session w Bowman
