US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries have held on to gains made in the Asian overnight
session earlier Tuesday.
- The Jun 19 T-Note future is up 5/32 at 123-245, having traded in a range of
123-195 to 123-265.
- Tsys supported overnight by ongoing Brexit impasse, a guarded RBA & a local
South Korean report noting that a South Korean official said that "North Korea
could be on the brink of a missile launch from a pad on its western coast".
- A bit of bull steepening in the curve. The 2-Yr yield is down 3.2bps at
2.3004%, 5-Yr is down 3.2bps at 2.2898%, 10-Yr is down 2.5bps at 2.4759%, and
30-Yr is down 1.8bps at 2.8723%.
- Curves trading mixed: 3M10Y -5.766 at 5.997, but 2Y10Y steeper (+0.901 at
17.529), as is 5Y30Y (+1.459 at 58.145).
- February preliminary durable goods orders (0830ET) are the data highlight
Tuesday.
- No Fed speakers scheduled.
