morning Thursday following a fairly light Asia-Pacific session.
- The Mar 19 T-Note future is up 2.5/32 at 120-10, having traded in a range of
120-045 to 120-105.
- The 2-Yr yield is down 0.8bps at 2.7641%, 5-Yr is down 1.5bps at 2.7528%,
10-Yr is down 1.6bps at 2.8933%, and 30-Yr is down 1.3bps at 3.1363%.
- NBC reporting that Pres Trump has told `people close to him` that he is
alarmed about the prospect of impeachment; White House declined to comment.
- Better news for Trump was BBG reporting late Weds that China has ordered
1.5-2.0mn tons of U.S. soybean, notably higher than previously.
- Dollar fairly flat (DXY off 0.05%), S&P e-mini futures off 0.2%.
- Global market attention will be on ECB decision at 0745ET/Pres. Draghi press
conference at 0830ET.
- US initial jobless claims, due at 0830ET, is expected to fall by 4k to a 227k
in the December 8 week after a decrease of 4k to 231k in the previous week.
