Axios has published a useful graphic tracking key Republican campaign events ahead of the 2024 presidential election and dates set for former President Donald Trump trials. The graphics demonstrates the extent that next year’s presidential election will be dominated by Trump legal problems.
- Axios notes: “If Trump's classified documents trial begins as scheduled on May 20, that means the former president and his legal team will be facing five trials — three civil and two criminal — before Election Day 2024…. The courtroom calendar could get even more packed if Trump is indicted by Smith and/or Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who will make her case next month to a grand jury investigating Trump's efforts to interfere in Georgia's election.”
