US TSYS SUMMARY: Tsys are flat after recovering from session lows, firming
sharply on BBG report that China has stopped buying some U.S. Agri imports.
- Sep TYs off best levels though, down 0.5/32 at 139-1.5 (L: 138-28.5/ H:
139-07.5). Curve a little steeper with the 2-Yr yield up 0.2bps at 0.1623%, 5-Yr
down 0.5bps at 0.2989%, 10-Yr unch at 0.6526%, and 30-Yr up 1.1bps at 1.4176%.
- S&P futures last off -0.3%
- Main data today is May ISM, out at 1000ET; it's released alongside Apr
Construction spending.
- Reminder that NY Fed is buying $4.5bln on avg daily this week (vs $5bln
previously), starting with $7bln in short-end Tsys today.
- 3- and 6-month bill sales today, total $117bln.
- No Fed speakers this week, as pre-June FOMC blackout period is underway.
