US TSYS: Tsys finished firmer on Tuesday, with yields marginally lower across
the board, as T-Notes closed shy of best levels. Underlying bid in equities did
little to the space.
- ISM non-m'fing data was largely ignored, whiles Fed's Kaplan reiterated his
view re: Fed patience.
- The latest 3-Year auction stopped through, with the cover ratio in line with
recent averages. In terms of the takedown, dealer participation eased, with
direct and indirect participation ticking higher.
- The Eurodollar strip trades unchanged to 1 tick lower through the reds.
- Focus now moves to the President Trump's SOTU address, in Asia-Pacific hours,
with November's trade data and 10-Year supply due Wednesday.
- T-Notes last 121.27, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields closed at 2.698%.
