US TSYS
US TSYS: Tsys have stuck to a tight range, and were unmoved by Fed Chair
Powell's latest round of comments, which offered little new. Powell reiterated
that the U.S. economy is in a good place, allowing the Fed to remain patient,
which gives a nod to the central bank's data dependent stance.
- Elsewhere, risk assets benefitted from a slightly stronger than expected
Chinese Caixin manufacturing PMI release (even though the metric remained in
contractionary territory), which applied some modest pressure to Tsys.
- Yields trade unchanged to a touch higher across the curve.
- White and red Eurodollar contracts trade unchanged to 1.0 tick lower.
- T-Notes last 121.29+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields last 2.717%.
