TTF Edges Lower with Warmer Weather and Steady Supply

European gas edges lower with steady supplies, healthy storage levels and low demand expected with warm weather forecast for NW Europe from the weekend.

    • TTF MAR 23 down -1.5% at 57.25€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 23 down -1.6% at 59€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 23 down -1.1% at 66.4€/MWh
  • TTF has found some support after gradually falling from a peak in early December. Front month has held within the 55.75€/MWH to 60.5€/MWh range over the last week.
  • LNG import flows to Europe remain steady just below 400mcm/d on 4 Feb.
  • Norwegian supplies are relatively unchanged today at 332.3mcm/d and Russian gas supplies flowing through Sudzha in Ukraine are again stable at 29.4mcm/d.
  • European gas in storage is at 70.15% according to GIE data from 5 Feb compared to the five year average of 50%. Germany is at 77.17% full, Italy at 69.23, France at 60.52% and Netherlands at 67.38%.
