TTF Falls Back to 19 Sept Low

TTF front month is pulling back to the lowest since 19 September, amid steady LNG and Norwegian pipeline supplies, above-norm stock levels and forecasts for mild weather until the end of the month.

    • TTF Q1 24 down -1.3% at 34.65€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 24 down -1.6% at 34.45€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 24 down -1.4% at 39.6€/MWh
  • Latest two-week weather forecasts for NW Europe suggest temperatures well above the seasonal norm throughout December, with a small dip below-norm at the end of the month.
  • European natural gas storage was down to 89.74% full as of 13 December, well above the five-year average of 79.09% according to GIE data.
  • European LNG sendout rose to 426mcm/d on 13 December, the highest since 7 December.
  • Pipeline supplies into Europe from Norway are today at 356.5mcm/d and still above the five-year average.
  • Libyan natural gas flows to Italy’s Gela terminal resumed gradually on Thursday, one day earlier than previously scheduled.
  • ICE TTF daily aggregate traded futures volumes were yesterday at 240.29k.
