TTF Gas Extends Decline

European gas extends decline on subsiding fears regarding the impact of reduced Russian gas supplies.

  • The German regulator suggested the gradual build in storage, lower demand, new LNG terminals and supplies from other European nations will help the gas balance.
  • The TTF curve is back below the levels seen just before the current three day maintenance of Nord Stream was announced on Aug 19.
  • TTF OCT 22 down -10.6% at 237.08€/MWh
  • TTF WIN 22 down -11.2% at 235.57€/MWh
  • TTF SUM 23 down -14.9% at 187€/MWh
