TTF Lower on Reduced Supply Risks and Easing Summer Demand

TTF prices are drifting lower as the risk of Russian supply disruption has eased, with strong LNG supplies continuing and demand easing into the summer months. European gas down 2.4% today to 80.55€/MWh

  • Nord Stream flows down slightly further with nominations for 65.5GWh/h while flows though Ukraine are relatively unchanged at 40.9mcm/d.
  • Norwegian flows were down to 315.5mcm/d with an outage at Troll due to a compressor failure ahead of planned maintenance on 8th and 9th restricting flows even further.
  • European gas storage continues to fill faster than normal and are now up to 49.4% and almost up to the 5-year average level for this time of year.
