TTF Plunges On Scheduled Nyhamna Return

TTF fell sharply, after recovering earlier in the session, because Shell confirmed the restart on 15 July for the Nyhamna processing plant, shrugging off the delayed maintenance at the Troll field.

  • Shell said earlier it was preparing for the start up of the 79.8mcm/d Nyhamna processing plant for 15 July after an unplanned outage delayed the facility’s return from annual maintenance.
  • TTF AUG 23 down -9.3% at 26.37€/MWh
  • This is despite updated remit data that the maintenance at the Troll gas field has been extended by one day until Friday, with an unavailability of 21.5mcm/d. The maintenance has been pushed back several times.
