TTF Plunges to Over 6-Month Low

Front month TTF has fallen to the lowest since 8 July driven by forecast for warmer weather from next week and high inventories, offsetting supply risks from Red Sea LNG tanker diversions.

    • TTF FEB 24 down -3.1% at 28.75€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 24 down -2.9% at 29€/MWh
  • Temperatures in NW Europe are expected to warm over the coming weekend with above normal temperatures expected from Jan 21 until the end of the month, significantly weighing on natural gas demand for heating.
