TTF Ticking Higher on North Sea Maintenance

TTF is trading higher this morning on lower North Sea supply as front month continues to bounce around the 200€/MWh level.

  • TTF SEP 22 up 1.9% at 200€/MWh
  • Nord Stream flows are still around 20% of capacity at just 31.8mcm/d. Siemens CEO this morning said that they are still in takes with Russia over the return of a turbine from maintenance. Siemens reaffirmed that the missing turbine is ready to be shipped but it is unclear who will take delivery in Russia. Russian supply via Ukraine is today nominated at 41.8mcm/d.
  • St Fergus is now on maintenance until Sept 1 reducing supplies by approximately 31mcm/d. Maintenance at the Gullfaks field have been delayed until September but Kollsnes and Troll are both due for outages from Aug 13. Norwegian nominations are today at 323.4mcm/d.
  • European storage is now up to 71.54% full as of Aug 6.
