TTF Trades Higher On Delayed Norwegian Maintenances

TTF front month has reversed losses and is trading higher on the day supported by uncertainty whether Norwegian annual maintenance will be coming to an end this week.

  • TTF AUG 23 up 0.6% at 26.8€/MWh
  • Earlier this week, the maintenance at the Troll field has been delayed again and is now scheduled to return on Friday with 21.5mcm/d of unavailable capacity.
  • The Kollsnes processing plant has an unscheduled outage on 13-14 July, limiting output by 11.5mcm/d, amid failure to external power supply.
  • European natural fell to the lowest level since early June in recent sessions following a more positive supply outlook from Norway as maintenance season is coming to an end and Shell confirmed the return of Norway’s large Nyhamna processing facility on 15 July.
