CABLE: Tuesday's corrective pullback found support at $1.2619 before bouncing
back through the NY session to $1.2746, holding shy of its earlier Asian peak at
$1.2755. Rate retained most of its recovery gains into the close, holding around
$1.2725/30 into early Asia. Early Tokyo pressed rate down to $1.2707 before it
again bounced back, meeting initial resistance at $1.2740 before it gained
stronger demand into Europe. Break above $1.2755 has seen rate push on to
$1.2778(76.4% $1.3200-1.1412). Above here exposes $1.2795(1.618% swing
projection of $1.2731-1.2628) ahead of $1.2839(1.618% swing projection of
Tuesday's move down from $1.2755 to $1.2619). Attention on this evening's FOMC
monetary policy announcement 1900BST, no change in rates widely expected,
markets watching carefully for any mention of yield curve control or forward
guidance in Fed Powell's following press conference. Cable support noted into
$1.2700 ahead of $1.2680.
