TURKEY: Foreign Minister Discusses Economic Ties During China Visit

- Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Turkey wants to cooperate with China on energy, including nuclear power. “We expect investments in Turkey to be encouraged and more imports to be made,” he said according to Milliyet. According to AA, discussions also centered on encouraging more Chinese companies to invest in Turkey and harmonizing efforts on the Middle Corridor and the Belt and Road Initiatives.
