Two Refineries in India Plan CDU Maintenance in 2024

  • Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals is planning maintenance at its refinery for three weeks in July-September, halting a 6m tons/year crude distillation unit according to Managing Director Sanjay Varma
  • The planned works at the 15m tons refinery are planned for during Indian monsoon rainfall season as demand is low.
  • Bharat Petroleum Corp. plans a 30-day maintenance shutdown to the 4.5m tons crude distillation unit at its Kochi refinery in southern India according to Refineries Director Sanjay Khanna.
The 15.5m tons/year refinery outage will take place during September and October.
