TYM3 Looks through Overnight Peak, Just

US TSYS

TY futures look through the top end of Asia-Pac range as Bunds firm a touch (with the latter aided by soft UK retail sales data), but operate within a narrow 0-04+ band thus far, while cash Tsys run 1-2bp richer, bull steepening. A quick reminder that the space looked to Thursday’s post-data NY move, a block buyer in TU futures (+6.4K) and weakness across the major Asia-Pac equity indices for support overnight. Elsewhere, Fed’s Bostic & Harker stuck to their respective scripts, while there was a modest, but perhaps surprising, uptick in usage of both the Fed’s discount lending facility and BTFP, per the latest H.4.1 filing from the central bank.
