Ukraine Rejects Proposed German President Steinmeier Trip

EU

Ukraine has rejected a proposed visit from German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

  • The former foreign minister is reportedly viewed by Kyiv as complicit in the soft German position on Russia which failed to prevent European dependence on Russian oil and tolerated Russian aggression in Ukraine.
