US and Japan Hold Talks on Alaska LNG Supply

US and Japanese officials held talks on the potential for future energy supplies to Japan from the Alaska LNG project according to a statement.

  • They discussed how Alaska LNG can provide stable, sustainable, and affordable energy sources to Japan.
  • Alaska LNG Project is a proposed LNG export project with a production capacity of 20.1mtpa and process 2.5bcf/d of gas. It will target the Asia Pacific LNG market.
