US Down on Easing Temperatures and High Production

US Natgas losing gains made yesterday on prospect of easing domestic demand and high production

  • US Natgas SEP 22 down -5.6% at 7.82$/mmbtu
  • Well above normal temperature forecasts have moderated but remain leaning above normal for much of the US.
  • Domestic demand similar to yesterday up at 74.8bcf.
  • Dry gas production is slightly down at 97.3bcf having peaked at 98.77bcf over the weekend. Production is now well above the 5-year range having gradually increased since mid 2020.
  • Deliveries to US LNG export terminals is stable at 11.2bcf today.
