US Edges Higher as Production Dips from Record Levels

US Natgas holding steady as production dips and demand remains strong.

    • US Natgas OCT 22 up 1.1% at 8.38$/mmbtu
  • US lower 48 dry gas production has dipped slightly from record levels of 101bcf/d earlier in the week with estimates showing 99.2bcf/d for today.
  • Domestic demand is steady around 66.7bcf/d as weather forecasts are mixed with warm temperatures in the east but near normal in the west.
  • Deliveries to LNG export terminals is strong at 11.7bcf/d driven by demand from Europe especially. Europe is already expecting the arrival of 12 more LNG cargoes from US before the end of the month. Exports to Mexico are relatively unchanged at 6.7bcf/d.
