US Increasing LNG Export Capacity

US LNG export capacity to grow as three additional projects begin construction according to EIA.

  • The US has more LNG export capacity than any other country and exported more LNG in H1 22 at 11.1bcf/d.
  • In August Calcasieu Pass LNG brought all liquefaction trains into service ahead of schedule.
  • Golden Pass LNG, Plaquemines LNG and Corpus Christi Stage III have all started construction. The three projects will increase US export capacity by 5.7bcf/d by 2025, 2.4bcf/d from Golden Pass LNG, 1.8bcf/d from Plaquemines LNG and 1.6bcf/d from Corpus Christi Stage III.
