JET FUEL
US air travel hit new record in March, and with it boosted jet fuel demand, according to BNEF.
- Airport security processed 8% more passengers in the last week of March compared with the same period in 2019, driven by spring break and the Easter holiday.
- Jet fuel demand finished the month at its highest post-pandemic level, up 160k b/d on the week.
- Demand is expected to continue climbing next week.
