US LNG Netbacks Favour Asia: BNEF

US LNG exports continue to remain more profitable to Asia from July-November, according to BNEF.

  • For July delivery, Asia earns a netback of $7.17/MMBtu, down 7 cents/MMBtu on the day. Meanwhile while Europe earns a netback of $6.34/MMBtu for July arrival, up one cent/MMBtu.
  • For August, the Asia netback is $7.26/MMBtu, down 7 cents/MMBtu on the day. This remains above Europe’s $6.39/MMBtu netback for August, up 6 cents/MMBtu.
  • In September, Asia’s netback is down 6 cents/MMBtu on the day at $7.45/MMBtu, while Europe’s netback is up 3 cents/MMBtu to $6.69/MMBtu.
