US TSYS SUMMARY: US Treasures are trading mixed but little changed since US
close of business Friday in very subdued Asian and European trading as UK
markets are closed for early May-Day Holiday. 10-yr Tsy future note is trading
at session low of 119-19 following purchase of a bearish option trade.
-  10-yr Tsy yield is 0.6bp higher at 2.9553%, while 2-yr is 0.6bp higher at
2.5031% and 30-yr 0.1bp higher at 3.1229%.
- US Tsy T-note future has traded in a very tight range of between 119-19+ to
119-23 in Asia with little in the way of major news flow from over the weekend
giving traders little to go off.
- There was some small bids at start of European session as German Bunds edged
higher on back of soft German factory orders, but this fizzled out shortly after
0530ET, weighed by buying in TYM8 puts and has left TSy at session lows. Volumes
has been low though
- Eurodollars are between 0.5 to 2 ticks lower with green and blue contracts
underperforming, but again volume is thin.
- Data is also limited today, however Fed Barkin, Kaplan & Evens all speak later
