US Tsys extended their gains...........>

US TSY/RECAP
US TSY/RECAP: US Tsys extended their gains yesterday as the correlation with US
stocks remained highly negative amid risk-off trading and gold and the VIX
jumped. The weak US inflation print also supported the space, with headline and
core CPI coming in below expectations at 2.3% and 2.2% respectively in Sep.
- The 10-year future traded through yesterday's highs before giving back some
gains to finish broadly flat as equities recovered some losses.
- The 2s-10s curve extended Wednesday's losses dropping back to one-week lows at
29.73bps.
- Real yields ended the day higher back through 1.0% thanks to a further drop in
breakevens, which fell 2.9bps on the fall in US stocks.
- 10-year yield last trades at 3.15%.
