US' Yellen: Any NK Nuclear Test 'Very Provocative'-RTRS

In a Reuters interview, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen states that any nuclear test be North Korea would be 'very provocative'.

• Says that the US has 'further sanctions' it could impose on North Korea in response to the country's nuclear programme.
• Comes as Yellen makes first visit to South Korea following trips last week to Japan and then Indonesia as part of G20 Fin Min summit. Yellen set to meet with South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol on 19 July.
• Conservative administrations in SK, from which Yoon's gov't hails, have historically been more hawkish on North Korea than liberal counterparts. Yoon has sought to talk up future security cooperation with the US in response to missile tests and aggressive rhetoric from Pyongyang.
