DOLLAR-CANADA
DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD last C$1.3269, some 10 pips lower on the day as supply
glut worries persist, revived by yesterday's reports of growing U.S. stockpiles,
with WTI's move higher overnight unable to provide substantial support to
oil-tied CAD.
- Meanwhile, the pair was pressured by broader dollar weakness.
- Bears continue to eye Wednesday's intraday low at C$1.3259 and a break below
would open up the Nov 27 low of C$1.3236. Conversely, initial topside focus
falls on the C$1.3300 figure and a move through that level would give bulls a
green light for targeting yesterday's peak at C$1.3360.
- Canadian GDP will hit the wires Friday.
