DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD last sits at C$1.3132, just above neutral levels. The
pair traded sideways overnight, sticking to a ~10 pip range.
- All eyes are on the BoC today, which is set to deliver its monetary policy
decision. Tha Bank's Gov Poloz and Snr Dep Gov Wilkins will hold a press
conference after the announcement. Our preview can be found under the following

- This comes after the rate advanced yesterday, mostly on the back of a firmer
USD. The C$1.3140 figure proved hard to overcome, with the rate having only a
brief look above.
- Bulls need to clear yesterday's/Jul 1 highs of C$1.3142/45 before attempting a
move at C$1.3162, which represents the 23.6% fibo retracement of the slide from
C$1.3565 to the YtD low of C$1.3038. Bears keep an eye on the 200-WMA at
C$1.3119. Should the level give way, they would target the psychological
C$1.3100 barrier.
