CHINA YUAN: USD/CNH has just added 28 pips, on the back of broader USD demand
into the Tokyo fix, and last trades CNH7.0759. RTRS circulated comments from
U.S. President Trump, who accused China of doing "everything they can" to
prevent him from winning re-election. He added that the U.S. "can do a lot" to
punish China for its handling of the coronavirus outbreak.
- We are on the lookout for China's official PMI data, due shortly. Caixin
M'fing PMI will hit later in the day.
- Bears look for a fall through the 50-DMA at CNH7.0537, towards Apr 10 low of
CNH7.0370, a key near-term support. A break here is needed to put bears in the
driving seat. On the topside, the initial focus falls on Apr 21 high of
CNH7.1095.
