USD/JPY To Fresh Highs For The Week

USD/JPY has hit fresh highs for the week, the pair last in the 140.35/40 region, as we approach the Tokyo fix. Earlier lows were at 139.94, while the Tuesday session high in the pair came in around 140.30. Outside of fixing related flows, US yields are a touch firmer, but are away from session highs. There may be some carry over USD demand from Wednesday's FOMC, particularly with no major changes expected at tomorrow's BoJ meeting.
