USD/JPY To Fresh Multi-Week Lows Sub 141.00

JPY

USD/JPY has broken sub 141.00 in recent dealings (last 140.80/85). This is fresh lows in the pair back to mid-June. The yen a clear outperformer in the G10 space, although all other majors are also tracking firmer against the USD. Doesn't appear to any fresh cross asset catalyst for the recent round of yen strength. US equity futures sit slightly higher, while yields have softened a touch.

Note the 50-day EMA sits back at 140.34. We haven't tested below this support point since May.
