USD/JPY Tops Y115.00

CROSS ASSET

USD/JPY has moved above Y115.00, with U.S. Tsy futures trading on the defensive. The broader USD has strengthened as a result. There hasn't been much fresh news to drive the moves, with some pointing to the previously flagged comments from Atalanta Fed President Bostic re: the potential for a quicker tapering move from the Fed as the driving factor. Granted, that was a few hours ago, but market liquidity has been thinned out by the Japanese holiday, resulting in the closure of cash Tsy trade until London hours.
