DOLLAR-MYR: USD/MYR has added 148 pips and last deals at MYR4.3488, with broader
risk aversion pushing the rate higher. Bulls look for a break above Apr 28 high
of MYR4.3733 before targeting the key near-term resistance at MYR4.4032, the
high of Apr 22. Bears see Apr 30/1 lows of MYR4.2890/50 as their initial target
and should those levels give way, focus would turn to Mar 27 low of MYR4.2470.
- The trial of Malaysia's Ex-PM Najib over the 1MDB scandal has been pushed back
to May 19, per the country's Dep Public Prosecutor.
- Malaysia reports its industrial output at the top of the hour, while quarterly
GDP & BoP current account balance will be released tomorrow.
