UST Rout Forces Reversal in SAGB Yields

  • SAGB yields open slightly higher this morning, following on from yesterday’s sell-off.
  • UST yields marked a sharp turnaround at the start of the US session more than paring the post-FOMC decline and taking most of EM FI with them. SAGB yields closed +1.7-5.4bp higher after erasing early declines.
  • W/w the curve stands mixed with front/middle (3m-10Y) 0-15bp higher and the back end -5-7bp lower.
  • Attention is on 10.44 resistance in the 10Y & 11.013 in the 30Y for the next leg higher in yields.
