Vaccine Rollout in Focus as Health Ministry Assess Covaxin, Sputnik Requirements

The meeting comes as the vaccine rollout is hit by further delays, as Globo today reports that the government have cut their vaccine rollout expectations for June by 4mln doses.
  • Markets look to play catch-up Friday after the Corpus Christi holiday on Thursday kept FX, equity and rates markets closed throughout.
  • BRL finished the Wednesday session higher, with USD/BRL closing at 5.0764 to cement six consecutive sessions of lower closes. Wednesday marked the lowest USD/BRL rate since December last year.
