vote for unchanged policy.
- Citi: Expect 7-2 vote in favour of unchanged bank rate, but eyes will be on
Haldane and Ramsden. November meeting could be more interesting.
- CS: Expect MPC to vote 7-2 for unchanged policy. Believe weakening economic
fundamentals, subdued wage growth and inflationary pressures cooling mean
trade-off between growth and CPI will continue to worsen and the economy will
end up at a "lambda" which is inconsistent with raising rates.
- Lloyds: Expect Bank to show that 2 MPC members voted for an immediate hike in
rates with others unlikely to be persuaded to join them at current juncture.
