{vz}{zr} - A handful of tankers set to pick up oil from Venezuela have been waiting off its coast for months according to Bloomberg vessel tracking.
- The four VLCC’s have been waiting off Venezuela since December.
- Two of the ships were hired by Polish oil refiner Orlen SA but for delivery to buyers in Asia Bloomberg reports.
- Vitol also has a ship on hire near the country’s coast.
- Bloomberg reports that the vessels are racking up large fees without delivering a cargo.
