GOLD: Warmer tones from U.S. President Trump re: China allowed the yellow metal
to ease back below $1,300/oz in overnight trade. Spot gold last deals virtually
unchanged at ~$1,299/oz after a brief look above yesterday's high in early
dealing.
- The Asia-Pacific session high at $1,303.41/oz provides the initial point of
resistance, with bulls encouraged by the close above the 50- & 100-DMAs, which
now act as support.
