WEDNESDAY SPEAKER GUIDE: BoE Speakers Due, But Policy Comments Unlikely

GLOBAL
BoE speakers are set to appear at the FXJSC event later today, but Bailey's remarks are set to be only brief (10 minutes between his, and Hauser's scheduled appearances) and follow his more direct policy commentary this morning ("BoE not in place to discuss rate cuts"). Interestingly, while both Hauser and Mester are set to speak, both are departing from their respective CBs in the coming six months. This should keep more focus on Fed's Beige Book release later today at 1900GMT/1400ET.
  • 1505GMT/1005ET: BoE Governor Bailey delivers remarks at the London FX Joint Standing Committee
  • 1515GMT/1015ET: BoE's Hauser (outgoing, story this week confirmed he's set to join the RBA) at same London FX event
  • 1845GMT/1345ET: Fed's Mester (voter '24, retires in June) speaks on financial stability (text yes, Q&A yes)
