  • Better bid in Bund, as the contract faded well ahead of the next yield retracement resistance noted at -0.211%, managed a -0.223% on Friday.
  • German 10yr yield is at last week's mid range, and the same can be said regarding the curve, with German 5s/30s trading where we ended late Friday.
  • QUICK TECH: Resistance is at 171.44, while support moves up to 170.87.
  • We have another week packed with speakers, but they will be more than likely ignored, with focus squarely on data.
  • This week sees, French, Italian EU final CPIs, EU 3rd qtr GDP, US Retail Sales.
  • Highlight will be the UK CPI (Wed).
  • This morning, the attention will be on the Scandis, with Swedish CPI, but this will have no impact on the Bund.
  • SUPPLIES: A lighter week, so less delta hedging impact.
  • SPEAKERS: Today includes BoE Haskel, Bailey, Pill, Mann, Saunders, ECB Lagarde, de Cos, Guindos.
  • Biden and Xi start their virtual summit tonight
