The only speakers due this week are Governor Bailey as a panellist at the Austrian National Bank’s “Return of Inflation” event and Tenreyro. Bailey will be on a panel today entitled “Monetary policy, policy interaction and inflation in a post-pandemic world with severe geopolitical tensions” chaired by Austrian National Bank Governor Holzmann and alongside Bundesbank President Nagel, IMF’s Adrian and BIS’ Borio. Tenreyro will also be a panellist at Bocconi University on Tuesday.
  • Politics will continue to brew in the background this week, but is unlikely to be a huge market mover.
