CABLE: Weekend press suggested that Brexiteers Rees-Mogg & Farage are continuing
to push for a harder Brexit, while the Telegraph reported that Britain will
recognise some EU regulations in the event of a no-deal Brexit to ensure that
the country does not grind to a halt. A quiet start in Asia, spilled over into
Europe with FX majors contained to narrow ranges. The dollar is registering
modest gains across the board pressuring GBPUSD to fresh session lows of
$1.2724. Light on the calendar this week with Brexit headlines expected to
drive. Near-term support is seen at $1.2697 from the Aug17 low, a break here can
look to challenge the ytd low at $1.2662. GBPUSD last $1.2732.
