YEN: Weekend reports in the Wall Street Journal that said President Trump is
expected to announce additional tariffs on $200bn of Chinese goods as early as
Monday, failed to trigger risk-off in holiday thinned markets overnight. EURJPY
comfortably holds above Y130.00, targeting a break of Y131.00 and to re-test
Friday's high at Y131.11, the level also holds key technical resistance from the
200-dma. GBPJPY holds mid-range at Y146.55, targeting a break of the double-top
resistance area at Y147.00/05. CADJPY consolidates above the 200-dma (Y85.36), a
break back above Y86.00 opens Friday's high at Y86.23, ahead of the Aug30 high
at Y86.58.
